The National Italian American Foundation (NIAF) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit, nonpartisan educational foundation that promotes Italian American culture and heritage. NIAF is a resource for the Italian American community and offers educational and youth programs, including scholarships, grants, heritage travel, and mentoring.

NIAF is also the voice for Italian Americans in Washington, D.C., and works closely with the Italian American Congressional Delegation, the Italian Embassy, the State Department, and the White House. NIAF’s mission includes advancing United States—Italy business, political, and cultural relations, and it has a business council that promotes networking with corporate leaders.

NIAF is the leading organization serving the Italian American community and Italophiles while maintaining a durable bond between the United States and Italy. NIAF is proud to have over 8,000 active members from this segment.
